The story

This TUNE Bass Maniac Standard STB-2 PJ was made in Japan. Serial 202113 and its documented features place it around 1989–1991, most likely circa 1990. Its transparent blue finish shows the ash body beneath.

The three-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and active PJ pickup configuration are paired with a 9V preamp and volume, blend, bass and treble controls. It has a 34-inch scale, brass nut, 25 frets, original TUNE bridge and reverse tuners. A small cosmetic mark on the P-pickup cover was noted; the bass went to Sommacampagna, Italy.
